Research Areas
Our research focuses on Spiking Neural Networks (SNNs), AI-inspired wireless communications and networks, and Autonomous driving.
Spiking Neural Networks (SNNs): SNNs are third-generation neural networks, allowing energy-efficient operations for Artificial Intelligence (AI). We study the core primitives for SNNs, such as neuron models, learning rules, and neural encoding/decoding.
AI-inspired wireless communications and networks: We’ve pioneered the integration of neural networks into wireless communication protocols for developing intelligent communication systems.
Autonomous driving: We focus on enabling robust, precise, and real-time trajectory prediction for self-driving vehicles, enhancing both safety and practicality of intelligent vehicle systems.
